Masculine Deities

SOBEK
Sobek is the NTR of strength and power. He was patron of the army and royal warriors, Defender of the people and the Nisut.

PTAH
Ptah is described as being the creator of craftsmen, the earth and the Underworld. The "NTR of Truth", the "Noble Djed", and "He who set all in their places and gave all things the breath of life"

AUSAR
Ausar is the NTR of death, the underworld and rebirth. He was murdered by his jealous brother Set, who cut his body into 13 pieces. His wife Auset re-membered his body and he then and became the lord of the Underworld. He carried the flail and the crook which were the symbols of power and kingship.

ANPU
Anpu is vital during a ‘Weighing of the Heart’ It was his duty to weigh the heart against the feather of truth. Anpu is the creator of the mummification process

TEHUTI
Tehuti is the creator of science, the arts of magic, the system of writing, arbitration and the judgment of the dead.

KHONSU
Khonsu is the lunar NTR of time and fertility. He was known as a both an exorcist and a healer.He also watched over overnight travelers.

AMON
Amun initially was the NTR of the air, sun and the sky. Amun then became a member of the eight deities collectively called the Ogdoad of Hermopolis. During the New Kingdom, Amun merged with Ra, the sun deity Amun-Ra.

RA
RA is the NTR of creation and the sun. He is often depicted holding the Ankh, the key of life, that represented eternal life and the 'Was Scepter' a symbol of divine power and an emblem of authority. He is the SUN, whom we describe as the Most High

HERU
Heru is the NTR of the Sky. He was the son of Ausar and Auset. After fighting his uncle Set, he became the ruler of Kemet. During this fight, he lost his eye. The Eye of Heru is one of the most important symbols in our history.

GEB
Geb is the NTR of the earth. Geb was originally engaged to Nut (Sky) and had to be separated from her by Shu, NTR of the air to form the cosmos. He Also was known as the deity of vegetation
